The AILA “Progetto Donna” Award, now in its 24th edition, took place in June at the Colosseum Archaeological Park – Temple of Venus – in a setting of extraordinary historical and cultural value worldwide. Like every year, the Awards will be assigned to people who have distinguished themselves, with their concrete commitment, in raising awareness and improving the living conditions of women not only in the medical-scientific medical field, but in all areas (social, family, cultural….).
On June 17, 2025, the conference on “Women’s Health” was held at the Curia Iulia, again in the Colosseum Archaeological Park, with the participation of personalities from the scientific world.
It was an opportunity to delve into issues of great scientific and social relevance and consolidate our commitment to information, awareness and prevention, in order to guarantee ever greater “well-being”.

The Aila Foundation will be present in New York on 03.19.2025, on the occasion of the Conference on “Women’s Health” that will be held at the Italian Consulate. Prof. Francesco Bove – President of the Foundation, will talk about osteoporosis, an increasingly emerging topic throughout the world due to its spread, also given the aging of the population and the high health and social costs. The pathology will be discussed from a scientific point of view, but also from an informative one: what to do to prevent it and, if it arises, how to treat it. The event at the conference will be coordinated by Monica Fornier, oncologist at the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
